The last Russian Emperor Nicholas II Royal Family paintings

Art was appreciated in the family of the last Russian Emperor, Nikolay II. Royal children were painting aquarel and oil paints. N.P. Krasnov, the architect, was teaching them.
Nikolay Aleksandrovich, as his father, was interested in collecting and he had enriched the Russian Museum with the great icon collection. He was also familiar with Contemporary Arts and had been giving annually 12 thousand rubles for the best Russian art magazine pressing “The World of Arts”.
